I think the coolest part about creating characters is that this is the only area of design that allows you to generate  "somebody " rather than "something". I mean; you can design a logo, a magazine, a poster , a website , or any other concept and these will always be abstract , elements which by their nature are devoid of life , which function to be objects ( of course valuable and personality but inert ) as it can be a glass of water , a rock or scissors .
Character design goes further, as it is obliged to pass on the way , to give us information about who they are. To the extent that we can better feel we know a character means you are better built , Who is it? What he likes? How is your character ? Do we know his voice? He like us or not?
I understand that from advertising standpoint, it is about empathy, to give it an abstract face. Companies need someone who represents them and is better than this "someone" is full of charisma, a great guy with whom we can identify
Today I make this post to thank all the people who have trusted my job to create their characters. They have been several years and I hopefully be much more!
